Dr. James Azuka Olisa
 Provost, FCE(T), Asaba.
Dr. James Azuka Olisa is the Provost of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria. Dr. Olisa assumed office as Provost in 2026. His first 100 days in office were marked by the College community on August 4, 2026, in recognition of the achievements, milestones and vision recorded by his administration within its first three months. An academic and advocate of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Dr. Olisa has published research on the role of TVET in mitigating unemployment in Delta State, focusing on curriculum relevance, industry partnership, infrastructure and skills development for economic participation.
Since assuming leadership, he has articulated a clear vision to reposition FCE(T) Asaba as a leading institution for technical and vocational teacher education in Nigeria, prioritizing discipline, academic excellence, ICT integration, staff welfare and an improved learning environment.

He is currently providing leadership for major institutional milestones, including the College’s 24th to 36th Combined Convocation Ceremony scheduled for November 18 and 19, 2026. Dr. Olisa is widely described by the College community as a visionary administrator committed to reflection, appreciation and renewed commitment to the College’s mandate
